ਯੁਗ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ ਨੇ
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੜਦਿਆਂ ਭਿੜਦਿਆਂ
ਲੜਾਈ ਅਜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕੀ

ਯੁਗ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ ਨੇ
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੈਂਡਾ ਗਾਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ
ਸਫ਼ਰ ਅਜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਿਆ

ਯੁਗ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ ਨੇ
ਤੇਰੀ ਥਹੁ ’ਚ ਭਟਕਦਿਆਂ
ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਅਜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕੀ

ਯੁਗ ਬੀਤ ਗਏ ਨੇ
ਜਕੋ-ਤਕੀ ’ਚ ਜੀਂਦਿਆਂ
ਦਵੰਦ ਅਜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਿਆ

ਉਹ ਭਲਕ ਕਦੋਂ ਕੁ ਆਏਗੀ
ਕਾਲੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਰਾਤ ਮੁੱਕੇਗੀ
ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਮੁਸਕਰਾਏਗੀ
